These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of this website and any mobile product engineering, Flutter development, bug fixing, or architectural services provided by Afaq Zahir ("Engineer", "I", "me").
1. Engineering Services & Scope
I provide mobile development services including: Flutter cross-platform mobile development (iOS & Android), AI & LLM integrations, Firebase cloud backends, code audits, bug fixes, and App Store publishing.
All client engagements begin after mutual alignment on written project milestones, deliverables, technical scope, and timelines.
2. Intellectual Property & Code Ownership
- Full IP Ownership: Upon receipt of final milestone payment, the Client retains 100% intellectual property ownership of all custom source code, assets, and documentation.
- Open Source Components: Standard third-party libraries (e.g. Flutter SDK, Riverpod, Firebase) remain subject to their respective open-source licenses (e.g. MIT, BSD, Apache 2.0).
- Portfolio Rights: Unless protected by an explicit Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA), I reserve the right to reference completed work in case studies and portfolio reviews.
3. Payment & Milestone Structure
Project engagements typically follow structured milestones:
- 50% initial deposit upon milestone commencement.
- 50% upon completed staging build delivery and client code handover.
- For ongoing maintenance sprints: monthly retainers invoiced net-7.
4. Warranties & Limitation of Liability
I warrant that delivered code will be structured according to production best practices and function in accordance with agreed specifications. However:
- I am not liable for outages caused by third-party cloud vendors (Firebase, AWS, Supabase, OpenAI, Apple, Google).
- I am not liable for external policy or developer guideline changes instituted by Apple App Store or Google Play Store outside reasonable engineering control.
